Food and Drink: Fresh ingredients foem the basis of Armenian delicacies such as dolma, a meat and rice filling rolled into grape leaves, or stuffed into summer vegetables. No visit to Armenia is complete without sampling khorovats, succulent bits of beef, lamb, pork, fish or chicken marinated and grilled over a wood fire, along with eggplants, tomatoes, bell peppers and othe vegetables. Winston Churchill drank Armenian brandy in preference to French cognac, after being given a bottle at the Yalta Conference in 1945 by Joseph Stalin!
