Mountain Lodge, Bumthang

The Mountain Lodge is a very basic small hotel located within a few minutes' walk of the village of Jakar in the heart of the Bumthang region.  Its 23 rooms are nevertheless very comfortable and cosy with a wood-burning stove for the cold nights.  All rooms have ensuite bathrooms.  The staff are very welcoming and guests normally enjoy their stay here.
