Inle Princess Resort is located approximately 50 minutes' drive from Heho airport and another 25 minutes' boat ride from the jetty at Nyaung Shwe. The resort lies on the eastern bank of Inle Lake next to the Magyizin Village, surrounded by magnificent views of the blue mountain ranges and rice padi fields. The architecture of Inle princess was drawn from the traditions and culture of the Shan and Intha people.
There are 45 traditional chalets and 1 Princess's Chalet; 27 are with Lake Front View (these are rooms on which the World Discovery prices are based - pictured below). Each Chalet has a large front-facing glass window that naturally lights up the inside of the room and also provides you with fantastic views of the surrounding scenery. The chalets' facilities include a writing desk, coffee table and chairs, divan, day bed, mini bar, IDD telephone and a wardrobe containing a safety deposit box. Each chalet is provided with complimentary tea, coffee & mineral water. 24 hour room service is also available.
The bathroom has a bath tub with hot and cold water and some of the lake view chalets also have a stream stone decorated outdoor shower.
The restaurant serves traditional Shan, Intha, European, Thai, Chinese and Vegetarian cuisine. In the evening you can have a drink on the terrace of the restaurant while enjoying the breathtaking views of the lake. The bar is open from 10 am until midnight and offers cocktails, local beer, seasonal fresh fruit juices, soft drinks, spirits, liqueurs, wine and Champagne with traditional snacks.
There is also a Wine Cellar in a hand-made cave, with both international and local wines.
