Well what a time we had - it was really enjoyable. We want to say how everywhere we went we were well received and looked after. Everywhere we stayed was in keeping with the area (albeit in the lap of luxury!). The food was well cooked and presented and the Nepalese recipes and way of eating it (Osso made sure we knew the order of how to mix it up!!). Starting in Katmandu.......gave us an insight into the culture. The Terrai and the wildlife made a good contrast to the mountain region, which was definitely our favourite part, the walking was not as strenuous as we anticipated but seeing the villagers in their self sufficiency mode and having such a wonderful backdrop of the Annapurna range really lifted our spirits and gave us the feel good factor we went there for. Avash, Ambika and Osso were really good guides and Jerman our porter was a stalwart. We had so many laughs with everyone and hopefully we were not difficult visitors.

To the south, in the lowlying jungles of the Terai, can be found some of the finest wildlife areas in Asia, once the exclusive hunting grounds of Nepal's rulers but nowadays open to visitors in search of the elusive Bengal Tiger or the One Horned Rhinoceros.
