Polar Bear Tours
World Discovery Polar Bear Tours give you the opportunity of seeing one of the world's most wonderful natural phenomena - the annual Polar Bear "migration" along the coast of Hudson Bay in northern Manitoba. Staying in comfortable lodge accommodation in the town of Churchill, often referred to as "The Polar Bear Capital of the World", you will travel through a pristine wilderness aboard a specially designed, heated, 'Tundra Buggy' to get close to the bears - an experience you will never forget.
Jill and Martyn Garnsey enjoyed one of our Polar Bear tours
We would like to express what a fantastic trip we have just had....The polar bears were stunning to watch in their own habitat and we saw approx 15 bears on each day. The first day out on the tundra was just magnificent. Bears right up close with so many great photograph opportunities and still plenty of time to just watch too. I have had the experience of one male bear looking up at me with his front paws resting on the vehicle staring straight into my eyes and no more than three feet beneath me. It lasted for about five seconds and was not captured on film but heyho I will remember the moment for the rest of my life. Words cannot even begin to describe the exhilaration we got from this trip - something I have wanted to do for about the last 15 years.
We also were blessed with the best guide we could have had. Steve Clubb was fabulous in every way. We feel honoured to have been part of his group. He really was the best.
