A gentle land of hauntingly beautiful mountain and river scenery, friendly smiling people working in the rice fields, and endless beaches of shimmering white sand, Vietnam is a country far removed from the distressing images of a generation ago.

Vietnam is rapidly becoming one of the most popular destinations in the Far East as visitors come to enjoy the colourful markets, fantastic food and excellent facilities now on offer.  From the surreal limestone outcrops of scenic Halong Bay in the north to the vibrant modern metropolis of Ho Chi Min City (Saigon) in the south, Vietnam is a land of great contrast and variety. 

Vietnam can be visited on its own, and also combines well with a visit to neighbouring Thailand, Laos or Cambodia.
