Whale-watching from Galle

From December to April the waters off southern Sri Lanka are considered to be one of the best locations in the world for seeing blue whales.  It is also considered the best for seeing both blue whales and sperm whales together.  Also to be seen are Long-snouted Spinner Dolphins.  Marine biologist Dr Charles Anderson believes that sightings have peaks during this period because of migration patterns and the fact that the waters are at their calmest during these months.  Join the early morning 3 hour excursion from Galle (departing at 5.00 a.m.) and enjoy sightings of these wonderful creatures in the company of naturalist guides.
