PRIVATE GUIDED TOUR
The hilltop ruins of Masada, high above the banks of the Dead Sea, are reached by cable car. Visits here include the Northern Palace, Roman baths, and the Ancient Church, as well as the Synagogue, possibly built by Herod the Great and believed to be the oldest in the world. Masada is famous for the mass suicide of the Jews, beseiged by the Romans during the First Jewish Revolt (72-73AD), who preferred to die rather than submit to their enemies.
Includes private transportation, guide and entrance fees.
