Isfahan Sightseeing (first morning)

The Allahverdi Khan Bridge with its 33 arches

HALF DAY PRIVATE GUIDED TOUR

This half day of sightseeing in Isfahan, usually taken in the morning, begins with the historic bridge of Shahrestan, dating from the Sasanid period or even earlier.  Continue to the famous Allahverdi Bridge, also known as the 'Sio-se-pol' or 33 because of the number of its arches; built in 1603, it is a favourite place to walk and take tea and is always animated.  You will then visit the Armenian Quarter of Isfahan whose many churches include the important 17th century All Saviours' Cathedral (pictured below), often referred to as Vank Cathedral, although 'Vank' is merely the word for cathedral in the Armenian language.

Includes private transportation, guide and entrance fees.
