This magnificent Rajasthan fort is off the beaten tourist track, located in a desert region between Bikaner and Jodhpur and surrounded by sand dunes. Built in the early 16th century by Rao Karamsji, 8th son of the founder of Jodhpur, the fort is still the residence of his direct descendants who are pleased to offer you royal Rajput hospitality.
The Fort, now a Heritage Hotel, has 64 ensuite rooms equipped with modern comforts including air-conditioning, heating, hot and cold running water, minibar and international direct dial telephone.
There is a large outdoor swimming pool. There is a bar, and a restaurant (below) offering Continental and Indian cuisine with Rajasthani specialities.
