The new Laxmi Niwas Palace

The Laxmi Niwas Palace was completed in 2008 to provide 20 additional rooms for the original Laxmi Vilas Palace.  The owner Deep Raj has retained the style and character of the old palace whilst taking the opportunity to make the rooms and bathrooms larger and more up-to-date.  The bathrooms in particular, with their two wash-basins and walk-in shower, are superior to those in the old palace (but if you want to soak in a bath-tub you should still choose the Laxi Vilas!).  The new palace has its own separate dining room so you don't have to spend time walking between the two properties.  The swimming pool is common to both palaces.
