Nature Heritage Resort, Bandhavgarh

The simple cottages of the Nature Heritage Resort

The Nature Heritage Resort is nestled among the hills of Madhya Pradesh, near the Bandhavgarh National Park. The resort has 12 simple cottages with attached private bathrooms and is set in the midst of 3 acres of mature forest.  Each cottage has a verandah looking out into the forest. Activities here include nature walks, elephant safaris, slide shows and lectures by naturalists every evening.

The restaurant serves Indian and continental food.  Meals are served in the dining room or, weather-permitting, outside around the campfire under a thatched roof.

The rooms (pictured below) are fairly spartan, but are clean and comfortable.
