Temple Tree Resort, Pokhara
Nepal Holidays - Temple Tree Resort & Spa
Temple Tree Resort & Spa is a boutique hotel
combining western standards with the distinctive architecture and
culture of Nepal’s Western Himalayas.
Nestling close by Phewa Lake in the Pokhara Valley,
Temple Tree is framed by the foothills and majestic peaks of the
Annapurna Mountain Range. The resort is just a short stroll from speciality restaurants,
fine handicraft and trekking equipment shops, Mountain bikes or boat
rentals and convenience stores. Major banking facilities including ATMs
are also within easy reach.
Temple Tree comprises two-storey individual cottages,
finished in hand-cut stone and featuring beautifully-decorated timber
struts and pillars. All 47 rooms (below) are climate-controlled, feature LCD television with satellite feeds as
standard, and offer access to free Internet through the resort's Wi-Fi network - in the
rooms as well as around the hotel.
Each room has an ensuite bathroom and a private veranda overlooking the inner
courtyard and the landscaped gardens.
Temple Tree has two restaurants: The Bay Leaf located on the ground floor and The Tree House on the first floor. The Bay Leaf (below) serves international cuisine and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Tree House provides an informal space with sofas
and tables. It is located in a prime position to embrace the views of
this unique enclave of tranquillity. The Island Bar is conveniently placed between the
Swimming Pool and The Bay Leaf Restaurant. Here guests can relax during
the day, sample the resort's drinks and enjoy an array
of snacks.
Temple Tree has a beautifully designed infinity Swimming Pool and an open Jacuzzi, ideal for soothing muscles and minds alike, especially after a trek. The resort's spa offers traditional Asian medicine with baths, saunas, mudpacks, massages and scrubs, and using perfumed oils, spices and essences of flowers and shrubs that are found only in the Himalayas.
