A secluded haven on the Red Sea Coast, The Oberoi Sahl Hasheesh boasts white sand, aquamarine waters and vibrantly-hued marine life. This exclusive luxury resort is situated on 48 acres with a private beach.

The architecture of the resort reflects the style of the region, resplendent with domes, arches and columns. Peace and privacy pervade this all-suite resort, with private courtyards complemented by soothing interiors and luxurious bathrooms.

The resort’s distinctive guest accommodations include Deluxe (pictured left), Grand and Royal Suites. Grand and Royal Suites have private heated swimming pools.

All 63 Deluxe Suites and 21 Superior Deluxe Suites are spacious and elegantly appointed and have luxurious bathrooms with separate shower stalls. Their sunken marble baths overlook a private open-air walled garden. In addition, there are 12 larger Grand Suites have their own private swimming pool, heated in the cooler months.  All rooms have complimentary WiFi access (which is also available in all public areas) and the hotel is in the process of adding iPod docking stations to all suites.

There are 6 Royal Suites. These beautiful apartments have a separate living/dining room, adjoining pantry and a guest bathroom. As well as an open private courtyard with swimming pool, the Royal Suites feature an outdoor dining pavilion. 

BARS AND RESTAURANTS

The Bar beside the pool offers wines, spirits and cigars. 

The Restaurant has commanding views of the sea and offers an a la carte menu of Continental and Oriental cuisine for dinner. It is possible to dine alfresco here, to take advantage of the stunning fairytale appearance of the resort's illuminated domes after dark. Children up to 6 years eat breakfast complimentary.

The Pergola is a romantic spot, located by the beautiful swimming pool, overlooking the Red Sea. It offers a menu of salads, pastas, pizzas and light snacks as well as cocktails and desserts throughout the day.

Elegantly styled in shades of blue and silver, Zaafran features eclectic Oriental and Indian cuisine. The 40-cover restaurant has a cosy and romantic ambience. A silver leafed central roof complements the fabric-panelled walls that are painted in blue. The restaurant is open for dinner.

The resort's gym is located at pool level and is equipped with state-of-the-art Life Fitness equipment to tone up every bit of your body. All gym equipment and the sauna and steam rooms are available to guests free of charge.

The stunningly beautiful outdoor swimming pool (left) at the Sahl Hasheesh opens at 7am and closes at sunset, when you will have a spectacular view over the beach and the Red Sea. Snacks and light refreshments are available at the pool’s Pergola restaurant during daylight hours.

A Tennis Court is available at the resort.

The hotel has a Dive Centre managed by DrivePro Academy with all the latest scuba diving professional equipment.

There is a golf course 30 km from Sahl Hasheesh. Travel can be arranged with the concierge.

There is a Children’s Activity Centre, Play Station, Cartoons, Bowling, Slides, and Mini Basketball for lively younger guests.
