excluding international flights

DAY 1 - Depart UK.

Recommended flight from London: Kenya Airways from London Heathrow (see below).  If you are travelling from a country other than the UK we would be happy to give you guidance on your flight options.

DAY 2 - Arrival in Nairobi.  Fly to Amboseli.

On arrival in Kenya's capital Nairobi you will be met by a representative of World Discovery outside immigration and customs. You will then be taken by private car to the city's Wilson Airport for the short scheduled flight to Amboseli, located in view of Africa's iconic highest mountain, the permanently snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro.  The award-winning Tortilis Camp is in a 20,000 acre private concession which means that guests, in addition to access to the National Park, can also go on walks in the bush with Maasai guides, all of whom are at least bronze medal holders from the Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association.
Meals included: Lunch, dinner.

DAYS 3 AND 4 - Amboseli.

There is all sorts of game at Tortilis including large elephant families that have been minutely studied.  The guides know the life stories and relationships of most of the elephants you will see and are able to recognise them on games drives and walks in the bush.  This specialised view into the lives of these magnificent creatures is a privilege all visitors relish.
Meals included: Full breakfast, lunch, dinner each day.

DAY 5 - Fly to the Masai Mara.

Today you will take a scheduled flight to Kenya's most famous wildlife location - the Masai Mara National Reserve.  A 20 minute drive from the Mara Shikar Airstrip will bring you to the luxurious eco-friendly Elephant Pepper Camp, nestled in the shade of elephant pepper trees but offering glorious views of the vast savannah plains.  Activities here will include game drives, guided bush walks and cultural visits to local communities.
Meals included: Full breakfast, lunch, dinner.

DAYS 6 AND 7 - Masai Mara.

Enjoy two full days of activities in the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve.  Because your camp is located in the private Mara North Conservancy you have the benefit of being able to take evening game drives to look out for nocturnal species, as well as experiencing walks through the bush with highly-trained guides.  Game drives through the sweeping Masai Mara will allow you to see the vast range of wildlife for which 'the Mara' is famous; large prides of lions, solitary cheetahs and leopards, and elephants, buffalos, wildebeests and zebras in almost unbelievable numbers.
Meals included: Full breakfast, lunch, dinner each day.

DAY 8- Fly via Nairobi to Malindi.  Transfer to Watamu.

Meals included: Full breakfast, dinner.

DAYS 9 TO 11 - Watamu.

Three days to unwind beside one of Kenya's finest beaches.  Your resort is a member of the 'Small Luxury Hotels of the World' group.
Meals included: Full breakfast, dinner each day.
