excluding international flights

At the Porini Camps you will enjoy game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles (not vans) with excellent guides.  Other highlights include walks with Maasai warriors, the opportunity for night game drives, and access to exclusive wilderness areas with no tourist minibuses.  This gives you an authentic safari experience, staying in small exclusive camps with spacious guest tents, comfortably furnished with private bathrooms, solar lights, and located in attractive unspoilt natural settings. At the camps all meals, drinks (wine, gin & tonic, beer, sodas, mineral water), and activities like game drives, walks, night drives and sundowners are included in the price.

DAY 1 - Depart UK.

Recommended flight from London: Kenya Airways from London Heathrow (see below).  If you are travelling from a country other than the UK we would be happy to give you guidance on your flight options.

DAY 2 - Arrival in Nairobi.  Drive to Amboseli.

On arrival in Kenya's capital Nairobi you will be met by a representative of World Discovery outside immigration and customs. You will then be taken by road to the Amboseli Porini Camp, located in the Selenkay Conservancy in view of Africa's iconic highest mountain, the permanently snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro.  The Selenkay Conservancy is a 15,000 acre private game reserve within a vast tract of land owned by the Kisonko clan of the Maasai people.  It is well off the beaten track and the animals are truly wild and tend to behave more naturally than those in the nearby national park.
Meals included: Lunch, dinner.

DAY 3 - Amboseli Porini Camp.

In addition to the better-known game like elephant, lion, cheetah, giraffe and zebra, there are several less common species such as caracal, African wildcat, civet, gerenuk, lesser kudu and striped hyena.  The camp's four-wheel-drive track links the Selenkay Conservancy to the Amboseli National Park so that you have the advantage of game drives in the park as well as in the exclusive private reserve.
Meals included: Full breakfast, lunch, dinner.

DAY 4 - Fly to Nanyuki.  Transfer to Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

Fly via Nairobi's Wilson Airport to Nanyuki, located on the Equator, where you will be met and taken to the Porini Rhino Camp in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy.  This 90,000 acre wildlife conservancy is situated between the foothills of the Aberdares and the magnificent snow-capped Mount Kenya.
Meals included: Full breakfast, lunch, dinner.

DAY 5 - Porini Rhino Camp.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy boasts an astounding variety of animals including all the 'Big Five' as well as a sanctuary for rescued chimpanzees; it also incorporates the smaller Sweetwaters Game Reserve, the largest sanctuary in East Africa for the endangered Black Rhino.
Meals included: Full breakfast, lunch, dinner.

DAY 6 - Fly to the Masai Mara.

Today you will take a flight to Kenya's most famous wildlife location - the Masai Mara National Reserve.  Transfer to the Porini Lion Camp in the exclusive Olare Orok Conservancy, a small 20,000 acre conservancy which borders the Masai Mara and which is home to an abundance of animals including the Big Cats for which the Mara is famous.
Meals included: Full breakfast, lunch, dinner.

DAYS 7 AND 8 - Porini Lion Camp.

Enjoy two full days of activities, including a full day in the Masai Mara with picnic lunch.  Activities at the camp include escorted walks with Maasai guides, sundowner drinks to watch the sunset from scenic viewing points, and evening and night game drives in the Olare Orok Conservancy.
Meals included: Full breakfast, lunch, dinner each day.

DAY 9 - At leisure.  Depart for UK.

Morning activities. In the afternoon transfer to Ol Kiombo Airstrip for the flight to Nairobi's Wilson Airport.  You will be met and taken to Nairobi's international airport for your flight back to the UK.
Meals included: Full breakfast, lunch.

DAY 10 - Arrive UK.

Morning arrival the UK.
