DAY 1 - Depart UK.
Recommended flight from London: Jet Airways from London Heathrow (see below). If you are travelling from a country other than the UK we would be happy to give you guidance on your flight options.
DAY 2 - Arrive Delhi.
On arrival in Delhi in the morning you will be met by arepresentative of World Discovery outside immigration and customs. Youwill then be taken by private car direct to your hotel. The remainderof the day is at leisure.
DAY 3 – By rail to Agra. Continue by road via Fatehpur Sikri to Bharatpur.
An early transfer to Delhi Railway Station to board the Shatabdi Express train to Agra, the capital of the Mughal Empire. You will travel in Executive Class for the journey of approximately 2 hours. On arrival your driver and guide will meet you and you will proceed to visit what is generally regarded as the world’s most romantic building – the glorious white-marble Taj Mahal and the impressive Agra Fort [more]. In the afternoon drive to the atmospheric ‘ghost town’ of Fatehpur Sikri [more]. After a guided tour of this wonderful city, continue to Bharatpur and your accommodation at the delightful Laxmi Vilas Palace, built in 1899 for the son of the Maharajah of Bharatpur.

DAY 4 – Bharatpur.
This morning a specialist naturalist guide will collect you from the palace and take you into Bharatpur’s Keoladeo Ghana National Park [more]. The rest of the day is at leisure.

DAY 5 – Drive to Sawai Madhopur. Ranthambhor National Park.
After breakfast depart for the town of Sawai Madhopur, located close to Ranthambhor National Park, famous for its tigers - the film 'Project Tiger' was filmed here. Arrive in time for a late lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon take your first game drive in the Park.

DAYS 6 AND 7 - Ranthambhor National Park.

DAY 8 - Drive to Jaipur. Afternoon sightseeing.
In the morning drive to the famous ‘pink city’ of Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan. Founded in 1727 by Maharajah Jai Singh II, Jaipur is the classic Rajput city, with its colourful bazaars, palaces and ‘havelis’ (mansions). This afternoon enjoy a guided tour of the highlights of Jaipur [more].

DAY 9 – Drive back to Delhi via Amber Fort.
Before Jaipur was founded, the capital of this region was Amber,built high on a ridge overlooking the surrounding countryside. The hugepalace-fortress is just 11km north of Jaipur, and this morning you willset off to visit it before proceeding to Delhi [more].After the visit, continue on your journey back to Delhi. Accommodationthis evening is at a modern hotel located close to the InternationalAirport.

DAY 10 – Depart for home.
Private transfer to the airport for your international flight home.

- All sightseeing as shown (unless indicated as ‘optional’), including entrance fees
- The services of a private English-speaking driver throughout
- The services of a private guide for the included sightseeing (except for the game drives in Ranthambhor National Park). For sightseeing on journeys between cities (e.g. at Fatehpur Sikri) your guide will be waiting at the site to meet you when you arrive).

A deposit of £250 per person is required at the time of booking. The balance of the price for your travel arrangements must be paid at least 8 weeks before your departure date.
