Painter’s Lodge is a British Columbia fishing lodge set in a stunning backdrop of sea, sky and mountains. The full-service resort offers gorgeous oceanfront views, pool and hot tubs, tennis courts, fitness centre, lush gardens and dining options for all tastes.

With 94 rooms and a variety of different suites, the lodge has accommodation to suit your individual needs. The World Discovery website prices are based on double rooms, but for a supplement there are also quad rooms, private cabins or two story, loft-style suites – all available in a variety of configurations.

The lodge can also offer you the Aveda Spa at its sister hotel, April Point Resort, which is reached by a complementary shuttle service across Discovery Passage. Massages, beauty services and more are all available in a beautiful new Japanese-style building, surrounded by the lush gardens of April Point Resort.

Legends Dining Room (pictured left) is the main attraction at Painter’s Lodge, featuring gourmet West Coast and Continental cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. Delicious daily specials bring fresh local produce and seafood together into a mouth-watering feast, best enjoyed with fine local wine and superb desserts. Perhaps no other Vancouver Island restaurant is known as well for its Sunday Brunch as Legends Dining Room. Locals and guests alike delight in this magnificent spread, and reservations are recommended. For a more casual meal, the Tyee Pub serves hearty comfort foods in a casual setting. Enjoy a frosty Vancouver Island beer and views of Discovery Passage while you talk over the day’s events.
