Serengeti Sopa Lodge
The Serengeti Sopa Lodge nestles in acacia woodland on the edge of the escarpment
overlooking the plains of the south-western Serengeti National Park,
one of the most famous parks in the world, and host to the largest and
most spectacular annual migration of the wildebeest.
The Reception Area is airy and spacious, the walls painted with rich earth colours reflecting the tones of the surrounding area. The Lobby (below) is furnished with large comfortable chairs made out of driftwood, huge cushions and colourful throw pillows.
Accommodation
The lodge has 69 standard rooms, all with 2 queen size beds, tastefully furnished with local fabrics and pictures. There is a small lounge area with a mini bar in each room, and a verandah with 2 comfortable chairs and coffee table, with glass windows facing the vast Serengeti plains. The rooms have en-suite bathrooms and hairdryers.
There are also 4 very spacious double storey suites.
Dining
There is a spacious open dining area with floor to ceiling windows, allowing a magnificent view of the plains.
