Bosra
PRIVATE GUIDED TOUR
Bosra has a rich history dating back to 1300 BC. Settled by the Nabateans in the 1st century BC, it rose to glory as the capital of the Roman Province of Arabia in the 2nd century AD. Bosra's magnificent theatre (pictured right), acknowledged by UNESCO in 1980 as a World Heritage Site, is the best-preserved and most intact Roman theatre in the world, made all the more dramatic by its unusual black basalt stonework. Your visit includes this superb site as well as Bosra's other monuments in the Old Town, which you will explore on foot.
Includes private transportation, guide and entrance fees.
